- Radar Loop of Arctic Front Snow - January 27-28th, 2023
- Date posted
- Description
- Here is a radar loop of the snow spreading across parts of Idaho and eastern Washington between late Friday night into Saturday morning, January 27th into January 28th, 2023. This shows snow moving in with the arctic front sliding in from the northeast. The loop starts at 8:23 PM PST Friday and ends at 8:50 AM PST Saturday (or 4:23 UTC to 16:50 UTC Saturday). The snow started into the Spokane/Coeur d'Alene area around midnight and expanded west-southwest through the overnight into early Saturday morning. It wasn't a completely solid line, so not everyone saw the same amount of accumulation. But on average it produced around 0.5 to 2.0" inches of snow.
