Several days of 100 degrees are expected for the lowlands, with values in El Paso and the lower valley near 105 degrees next week. A heat advisory is in effect for El Paso and the lower valley from Sunday through Tuesday night, but this will be extended for the foreseeable future. Make sure to drink plenty of water, check up on the elderly, and never leaved pets or kids in a closed vehicle.
