Several rounds of ballistic missile explosions were then heard in Kyiv at 3:15 a.m. through 3:44 a.m. local time. An air raid alert was still in place in capital at 8:30 a.m.
One person was killed, and 36 others were injured, with 11 people rescued from under a partially collapsed building in Kyiv.
