But there are also dangers hiking in Las Vegas thanks to the extremes in weather. We talk to a Las Vegas Fire and Rescue member who is no stranger to search and rescue calls. Captain Timothy Garrett has some great advice for anyone hitting the trails in Vegas on everything from the best seasons to hike in Las Vegas, how much water to take on a hike, proper clothing for hiking in Las Vegas and even why bright clothes can save you if you need to call 911.
