- Is Lagos getting cleaner? No. All Lagosians know. Under the Obalende Bridge, a major canal that drains water out of the area has become a dumping ground. Sand, plastic, and thick dirt have completely blocked the flow, turning what should be a clean waterway into a flood threat.

He said, “It’s not about just reservations. It’s about how the country will go well. My personal vision is to see a nation that works in my lifetime, and those things I’ve discussed with Mr President, they’re not hidden things, but I’ve learned that when you discuss with the person in charge, you leave it with him to do whatsoever he wills with what you have suggested.
“So I’ve had a private conversation with Mr President and I’m glad that he received me well and I trust that God will help our nation.”
“We have danced around some subjects for too long a time; it’s time to take concrete action to ensure that the mercies of our country do not live in abject poverty, that’s all,” he said.

Eyewitnesses report that during the high-profile ceremony—attended by top government officials, dignitaries, and members of the press—President Tinubu walked past Governor Sanwo-Olu without any acknowledgment, handshake, or verbal exchange, despite the governor standing in clear view and extending a gesture of greeting.
While the Presidency and the Lagos State Government have yet to issue official statements, the public snub has raised questions about internal tensions within the ruling APC and what it could mean for Lagos State’s political dynamics moving forward.

- Description
- A one-eyed bus conductor was assaulted by some ‘Agberos’ in Oshodi, Lagos, right in front of police officers clearing the road for President Tinubu’s convoy.
He reportedly spent over ₦2,000 during the altercation with the NURTW members.
Despite Lagos State Ministry of Transportation’s fee harmonisation policy in 2022, assaults on bus drivers and conductors by Agberos persist, causing some to have lost their teeth or sustained one form of injury or the other.
