The service uses low Earth orbit satellites to deliver high-speed broadband, offering an alternative to traditional connections without the need for cables.
Its arrival was announced by Elon Musk on X, with the Chief Minister welcoming the development, saying he is pleased this is now a reality for Gibraltar.
Michaela Potts of Electrical Marine Services says Starlink provides an additional connectivity option for both residents and businesses, with services now available locally.

- The Sunborn Group is considering replacing its floating hotel in Gibraltar, according to a recently published business strategy.
The plans suggest Ocean Village could receive a newer, possibly smaller vessel, with the Sunborn International Group saying it is negotiating for a new floating hotel with 140–160 rooms to be built in Gibraltar.
The current ship has 189 rooms.
The group’s London yacht hotel is also expected to be replaced, with the current vessel moved to Seville.
The Sunborn Group business strategy document says the current Ocean Village yacht hotel will remain in Gibraltar for now, but could be moved to a new international location in the future.
The lease agreement for the Gibraltar berth runs until August 2028, but the company intends to maintain a presence on the Rock beyond that date.

Unite the Union held its annual Mayday rally in Gibraltar today, marking international workers' day with speeches by union officials, family entertainment and stalls across the site.
Speaking to GBC, the union's Regional Officer, Louis Gonzalez, said the proposal had been drawn up jointly with other public sector unions. He described the joint approach as a win-win for members, and said it represented the way forward on agreeing public sector pay. Mr Gonzalez said a meeting with Government was scheduled for the coming weeks.

- The former Judge and Coroner, Felix Pizzarello CBE, has died at the age of 95.
Felix Pizzarello received the Medallion of Honour in 2015 for his services to the public in various ranks of the judiciary.
At the time, the Chief Minister told Parliament that he had contributed to the interests of Gibraltar and its people in an "exceptional manner".
Mr Pizzarello was first appointed Additional Judge, the equivalent of what is now termed "Puisne judge".
He also served as Stipendiary Magistrate and Registrar of the Supreme Court and Court of Appeal.
As Coroner, he presided over during the inquest into the three IRA deaths in 1998, under intense international scrutiny.
Felix Pizzarello dispensed justice in the Gibraltar courts for years, and although he was no soft touch, he had a reputation for being fair.

Fabian Picardo became the first Chief Minister to meet bilaterally with a Foreign Minister in Madrid.
He said today’s meeting focused on implementation and the priority is turning the treaty into reality.
Both sides discussed the political progress made since their last meeting in Brussels, as they prepare for the treaty’s provisional application on the fifteenth of July.

- Operational autonomy of military facilities on the Rock will be protected under the UK EU Treaty on Gibraltar.
This has been confirmed by Europe Minister Stephen Doughty in a House of Commons exchange.
Asked by Conservative MP Peter Fortune whether the treaty would directly or indirectly limit operations, access or security of the UK naval base, Mr Doughty said it would continue to operate unfettered, as it does today.
He elaborated on the subject at the Foreign Affairs Committee meeting earlier this week when he was asked a similar question by Labour MP Alex Ballinger.
