- A fire at One Bayside has been extinguished.
The Fire and Rescue Service, assisted by the Airport Fire and Rescue Service, had been tackling the blaze since around 8pm Wednesday evening.
No injuries have been reported.
Approximately 30 firefighters have tackled the blaze. A further 16 fire officers were called in to provide additional manpower and increase the volume of water being applied to the fire.

- Former teacher and scout leader Clayton Busto has been sentenced to 14 years in prison for sexual offences against teenage boys.
Busto was sentenced at the Supreme Court after being convicted of 16 charges involving four boys who were aged between 14 and 17.
Chief Justice Anthony Dudley described him as a “sexual predator” who targeted and groomed adolescent boys for his sexual gratification.
The offences were committed between 2007 and 2016, with some taking place under legislation that pre-dated the Crimes Act 2011.
Fourteen years in prison for offences spanning eight years, committed against teenage boys while Clayton Busto occupied positions of trust.
In passing the sentence, Chief Justice Anthony Dudley described the former teacher and scout leader as a “sexual predator” who targeted and groomed adolescent boys for his sexual gratification.
He said Busto had shown no remorse.

The pioneering 2nd World War Royal Navy unit was based in Gibraltar, tasked with inspecting Allied ship hulls and neutralising enemy limpet mines.
Navy veterans and dignitaries gathered to hear stories about the small team of heroic divers in the UWWP who risked their lives in Gibraltar harbour.
The unit was founded by Lieutenant Bill Bailey and was later famously led by Lieutenant Lionel "Buster" Crabb.
Lieutenant Bailey's son attended the event.

Negotiations are now underway, and the Government says it cannot provide further details about the proposal while these remain live.
Rosia Bay was transferred to the Government by the Ministry of Defence in 1990, and successive administrations have attempted to find a solution for the site.

The Bank’s Monetary Policy Committee has kept the rate unchanged since December, when it fell from 4%.
The decision to hold rates puts the UK out of step with both the US Federal Reserve and the European Central Bank.
Last night saw the US raise interest rates for the first time in three years to a 3.75 and 4% range.
Policy-makers say elevated inflation influenced the decision.
Last week the EU rose interest rates by a quarter percent to 2.5%.

Opening the Association of Compliance Officers’ Conference, the Minister for Justice said the responsibility of governments should not only focus on the rehabilitation of the offender but extend to the protection of victims and the wider public.
Nigel Feetham said he was working on legislative measures to strengthen the deterrent against serious sexual offending.
And, he added, he was willing to go further if it’s found the measures already announced do not deliver the protection that, he said, our children deserve, even considering measures that some may regard as extreme.
The comments come as an increase in convictions puts pressure on the prison system.
