David Neish of Fortress Attractions said Moorish Castle will soon re-open to the public with newly accessible areas and pathways, while the Northern Defences experience continues to develop with Carl Viagas at the helm.

It says Companies House records show charges in favour of CCU against several El Martillo companies.
The GSD says the public is entitled to know whether any of the £114 million was ultimately loaned to the group and, if so, how much.

- Work on the Westview Park reclamation is set to start this week, with the demolition of extension jetty number 3.
The reclamation itself is expected to take between 15 and 18 months, with a master plan showing the design of the buildings to be made public soon.
It will see 47,000 square metres of new land built, with 300 pensioner flats and 2000 affordable homes.
These will be sold on a 50/50 basis following the model seen in Hassans Centenary Terraces and other recent Government-built estates, with buyers paying only around the cost of construction.
Katy Docker asked Minister Gemma Arias-Vaquez whether there was a need for this many homes and what the current housing data shows about the level of demand.

- A row over the GSD and GSLP-Liberals' respective track records on housing continues after the Government announced plans earlier this week for 2,300 affordable homes at the Westside reclamation.
The Opposition has accused the Government of intentionally massaging the affordable housing figures by omitting mention of the rental homes also created by the GSD.
The party says people want the Government to deliver low-cost housing instead of engaging in “playground politics”.
However, the Government says it is "remarkable" for the Opposition to try to present rental housing as a GSD strength.
Number Six says it was the GSD that sold Government rental homes to their occupants - knowingly depleting the housing stock it had inherited.

- Young anglers aged 7 to 14 cast their lines over the Peter Isola Promenade for this year's annual Junior Shore Fishing Competition.
Warm and humid levante winds offered favorable conditions for the novice anglers who collectively caught over 12 different species of fish, including Horse Mackerel (Jureles), White Bream (Sargo) and the rarer Sheepshead Bream (Sula).
In 7-10 age group, Hailee ended the day with the heaviest fish: a 575g Sheepshead Breem, and was also the Points Aggregate winner.
In the 11-14 age group, last year’s Heaviest Fish winner, Kelvin, returned to defend his crown with a 700g Grey Mullet, whilst newcomer Oliver was the Points Aggregate winner.
Three seminars in the lead up to the competition emphasised the importance of catching suitably sized fish, encouraging a 'catch and release' approach and highlighting legal limits of fish sizes.
