- How to engage youth in policy-making?
- Runtime
- 2:09
- Date posted
- Description
- The European Commission places youth at the centre of the decision-making process. Youth policy is giving young citizens the power to express and share their beliefs on what the future for Europe should be.
Each of the 27 Commissioners held a youth policy dialogue, so topics like Defence, Agriculture, Regional Development, Finance and many more were discussed during the first 100 days of Mandate of the current commission.
This on-going action gives young people a platform to express what they want Europe to be in the future and gives Commissioners and law makers a clear understanding of what the next generation thinks and needs solutions for, empowering young people, promoting their participation in society, and supporting their development and inclusion across the European Union.
