- February 24, 2022, marked a turning point for Europe. Today, we honour Ukraine’s fallen heroes and stand with those defending their country.
The EU has provided €135 billion in support, with a new €3.5 billion package arriving in March. We are accelerating arms deliveries, strengthening Ukraine’s economy and energy security, and integrating its electricity market with the EU by 2025.
A free and sovereign Ukraine is not only in the European interest. It’s also in the interest of the entire world. An investment in Ukraine’s sovereignty is an investment in preventing future wars.
