U.S. Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona joins with the C.A.A. Foundation to launch a new mentorship program for kids called "Get Ready Set."
The idea is to encourage adults to volunteer an hour a week to help kids expand their horizons.
The launch event occurs at Fairfax High School in Hollywood and includes L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti, members of Congress Adam Schiff & Ted Lieu, School Board Members Kelly Gonez and Nick Melvoin, and NBA vets Doc Rivers and Jason Collins.
CAA Co-Founder Bryan Lourd is on hand to celebrate the opening as well.
