It started after Rose Bridges sewed a flamingo print sleep sack for the new baby of her friend, Kelsey Searles.
“When she gifted me this cool flamingo print sleep sack, I thought there’s a hole in the market for this colorful fun things that reflect my style, that reflect the vibrance of the baby we just brought into the world, so I called her up and said, ‘let’s start a business!’” Searles said.
That business also specializes in rompers for moms.
“We do it in fun, modern prints. We’re the anti-babyish…baby brand,” Searles added.
Mili Mili was part of the Target accelerator program. The retail giant uses the program to help grow potential brands to be sold in its stores.

California's leadership says there's been some progress in getting goods moving.
There's been a 32% drop in 2 weeks of containers sitting on docks. They credit a 24/7 work force, threats of fines, and an easing of regulations.
"We are committed every day to the idea that people get their Christmas presents," Garcia told me.
$17 billion has been allocated for ports in the recently signed Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill, but its not clear how much of that will come to California.

Among those at the Malibu Triathlon? Actors, athletes, and even a team from FOX 11 Los Angeles.
The FOX 11 team featured reporter Sandra Endo doing a 1/2 mile swim, photographer Sam Dubin completing a 17 mile bike ride, and anchor Elex Michaelson running for 4 miles.
FOX 11's team finished first among the local news teams in the competition.
Sandra Endo also completed the bike ride & swim on her own. She was the top finisher among women in the celebrity division and third overall.
Why did Sandra choose to do the extra work? “Why did I want to? Because the feeling of passing KTLA and Channel 7 out there individually,” she joked.
Dubin added: "“It's fun! You get to cycle in one of the most beautiful places for a great cause."

Rep. Karen Bass joined us on the FOX 11 News Special Report to discuss the failure of Congress to pass a bipartisan police reform bill.
The House passed Bass' "George Floyd Justice in Policing Act" earlier this year, but it couldn't pass the 60 vote threshold in the Senate. Democratic Senator Cory Booker was working with Republican Senator Tim Scott to hammer out an agreement.
"Sen. Booker couldn't get Sen. Scott to yes," Bass said.
She said that Democrats offered Republicans to make Pres. Trump's Executive Action regarding policing a law, but they wouldn't agree.
Bass hopes that Pres. Biden will now take a series of executive actions to create reforms.
"I think we missed our moment," Bass said of the timing.
She said while their negotiations stalled, crime numbers went up in cities across the country...and they lost ...

Both Biden & Newsom are trying to tie Republican challenger Larry Elder to Donald Trump. Biden called Elder a "Trump clone."
