Flash flooding events and water rescues have already begun to play out in some areas, including Louisville, ahead of river cresting, which could begin as early as Sunday. Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg warned that the downtown area near the Ohio River will likely see more impacts than those in February and conditions could rival the flooding event of 2018, potentially becoming one of the worst floods in the city's history.
