Organ Donation – Let’s Talk About It – Become A Donor
The Council of Europe (CoE) created European Day for Organ Donation & Transplantation (EODD) with the aim of raising awareness for the ever-increasing need for organ donations and the importance of everybody becoming an organ donor, regardless of their age.
It is an opportunity to honour all organ donors and their families and to thank transplantation professionals throughout Europe whose hard work helps to save lives and improves the quality of life of many people.

The Council of Europe is committed to promote and ensure respect for the human rights and dignity of every individual and to combat discrimination and violence against lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender persons in Europe.
