Description: President Trump told reporters at the Cabinet meeting Friday that Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D), not Iran, was behind the recent cyberattacks on water systems in Minnesota.

"You know who's behind it? Minnesota, because they're grossly incompetent," he said. "I think the governor is behind it, I don't think there was an Iranian cyberattack."

Earlier this week, several states, including 30 water systems in Minnesota, were hit by cyberattacks as hackers attempted to degrade water infrastructure.

President Trump added that Minnesota "ought to get its act together," calling it "one of the worst run states."

The president's claim comes as multiple media outlets have reported that investigators and U.S. officials suspect Iran was behind the attacks.
