- This summer there were 10 festivals in London's parks but there's concern that holding such private events is putting a squeeze on public access to our open spaces. That's according to an academic from the University of Westminster, who claims that councils risk exploiting our parks for commercial gain. He's now recommending that regulations are put in place to limit the amount of time and space that events can take up. Charlotte Gallagher reports.
