The U.S. Embassy in Addis Ababa announces a $522,000 grant to the Ethiopian Academy of Sciences to support the transition of Ethiopian public universities to autonomous governance during the commencement of International Education Week. The US Ambassador to Ethiopia, Ambassador Ervin Massinga, announced the funding at a signing ceremony that took place at the headquarters of Ethiopian academy of science in Addis Abeba.
Ambassador Ervin Massinga told medias that international education week is about showcasing the U.S. education system overall the world so that the students may pursue education opportunities in the U.S.
