- Most people in Wyoming are well familiar with the concept of a wildlife outfitter organizing and guiding a big-game hunting trip into Wyoming's back country. Ron Hayes does that, but with a twist. He outfits wildlife expeditions for photographers.
Hayes guides program host Steve Peck to a North Platte River bottom area in Converse County, where the two photograph ducks, geese, wild turkeys, deer, and just miss seeing on a huge flock of snow geese spotted in the area earlier in the day. For viewers, Hayes shares tips on equipment, offers advice on getting better wildlife photography, and describes moments in his life that led to his pursuit of photography as a career.
Plus, he talks about his favorite animal to photograph and the one animal he hopes to catch her on camera at least once in his life.
