But this virtuous logic is met with contention in the area of consumer safety. Wyoming Chronicle host Richard Ager talks with House Representative Sue Wallis, Director of Consumer Safety Dean Finkenbinder, and Direct to Consumer Producer Mike Ridenour for a look at issues affecting profitable growth in this area of agriculture.

Instead, they got a public firestorm in which an elected official lost most of her powers and launched a lawsuit against the governor. Add to that a number of hot button hearings that required extra security, highly aroused citizen activists who lingered for days, and you've got something to talk about. Host Richard Ager is joined by Darrell Ehrilck, Editor of the Casper Star-Tribune; Reed Eckhardt, Executive Editor of the Wyoming Tribune-Eagle; and Greg Nickerson, Capitol reporter for Wyofile.
