- Roberto Azevêdo outlines the agenda for the Fifth Global Review of Aid for Trade
The event will be held at the WTO from 30 June to 2 July 2015. The theme of the Review is “Reducing Trade Costs for Inclusive, Sustainable Growth”.
The global review will bring together participants from around the wold — notably trade and development ministers, other government officials, heads of multilateral and development agencies, representatives of the private sector and civil society — to discuss how to reduce high trade costs, which act as a brake on the integration of many developing countries and least-developed countries (LDCs) into international trade.

Elles indiquent sous quelles conditions les créateurs tels que Olivier Madiba peuvent protéger leurs droits d'auteur sur les marchés d'exportation importants. Ces règles les aident aussi à négocier les conditions d'octroi de licences dans d'autres pays.

Kiro’o Games Studio has twenty technicians working full time on the job, and is relying on access to international markets.
The TRIPS agreement introduced trade-related intellectual property rules at the WTO creation in 1995.
It provides the conditions under which creators such as Olivier Madiba get copyright protection in important export markets and helps them negotiate licensing arrangements in other countries.

Highlights from WHO-WIPO-WTO symposium
The World Health Organization (WHO), World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and World Trade Organization (WTO) held a technical symposium on “Innovation and access to medical technologies: challenges and opportunities for middle income countries” on 5 November 2014 at the WTO in Geneva. This fourth trilateral technical symposium looked at some of the opportunities and challenges in middle-income countries. While they are catching up in the area of biomedical innovation and industrial development, they are also facing challenges in ensuring access to innovative health products for their populations.
