- As a busy city, Cardiff of course has heavy traffic. It's part and parcel of big populations and city life. But some might think that that doesn't necessarily have to mean junctions that are difficult (sometimes painfully so) to use. Everyone has a particular spot they dread, especially those unlucky enough to find themselves on the wrong side of the rules and who get caught out by cameras spotting them in bus lanes, yellow boxes, bus stops or no-entry roads. Here are some of the junctions we think are the most awkward to deal with in Cardiff.

In 2011 proposals were revealed by Talbot Green Developments Ltd (TGDL) for a complex including a supermarket, hotel and cinema at the site east of Cowbridge Road near the A473.
The plans were approved in 2013 and 2014, and a new roundabout was even built to handle the expected traffic. But years passed and the site remained mysteriously empty.
