CBC and CP24 television both reported eight people were injured.
Toronto's Pearson Airport said it was aware of an incident involving a Delta Air Lines’ regional flight arriving from Minneapolis and that emergency teams were responding.
All passengers and crew were accounted for, the airport said in a statement on social media platform X, formerly Twitter. “Emergency teams are responding,” the post added.
Other social media posts appeared to show the jet upside down on the tarmac in Toronto, Ontario.

- U.S. President Donald Trump said he would pave the way for the United States to sell F-35 Stealth fighter jets to India and the two leaders would work to make tariff cuts in order to reduce America’s nearly $50 billion trade deficit with India.
Trump made the announcement during a Thursday press conference with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Trump also said the U.S. and India have struck an agreement that includes India importing more U.S. oil and gas to shrink the trade deficit between the two countries.
“Prime Minister Modi and I agreed we would begin negotiations to address the long-standing disparities,” Trump said.
