- Description

- GHB: The Party Drug Killing Ravers | High Society
- Runtime

- Description
- GHB can make you happy and horny with no comedown but a millilitre too much can put you in a coma, or be fatal. And whilst you’re more likely to have heard about GHB in the context of the chemsex scene, or its abuse as a date rape drug, there’s a lack of reporting about its prevalence in the dance music scene.
We went out to investigate just how widespread GHB abuse has become, and what we uncovered is alarming. A hidden G epidemic has been spreading through raves and clubs across Europe, leaving a trail of death in its wake.
In this special episode from a new series of High Society, we meet Holland’s hardcore fanatics, we travel to Ibiza to see how far the drug has seeped into regular party life, and the Scottish DJ Jackmaster speaks openly about his GHB addiction, for the first time since he was accused of sexually harassing festival staff at a British festival in 2018.
This episode is the first of five new reports about five new alarming ...

- Runtime
- 25:33
- Date posted
- Description

- Description

- Taji took to Yelp to find the most poorly reviewed piercing shop. But it doesn’t stop there: Taji found a place that truly takes the phrase “jack of all trades, master of none” to the fullest extent.
Not only is it a piercing shop, but it’s also a tattoo parlor and... a bar. Some might say consuming alcohol before a piercing is a dangerous combination, but for Taji, it’s the perfect cocktail.
This place was shut down by the local health department, so Taji is going in with an open mind and hoping he doesn’t leave with an open wound.
The only question that remains is: belly button or nipple piercing? Let’s flip a coin.Click here to subscribe to VICE: http://bit.ly/Subscribe-to-VICE

- Marijuana is a projected 55 billion dollar industry that's only available for adult use in just 11 states and medically legal in a little over half the country. As fortunes are being created and millions of dollars are being invested, over-regulating and restricted access have placed the wealth of legal marijuana into the hands of a select few, causing Democratic presidential candidates to use phrases like reparations or restorative justice in describing their plans for federal legalization. So we talked to some cannabis entrepreneurs in the Bay Area where some of these plans already exist to find out if they have brought equity to the industry or if they have handed the keys to corporate interests.

Power struggles behind the scenes, however, created chaos and confusion for both the media and those who wanted to attend.
VICE producers Zeke Spector and Dan Zabludovsky documented their process of trying to gain access to the event and their attempt to make sense of how an Internet entity can affect people in the real world.

- Meth Country - An Unstoppable Epidemic
- Runtime
- 29:48
- Date posted
- Description
- While the war on opioids rages on in America, meth is making a comeback. Legislation around the war on drugs has shifted dramatically in the decade since Congress first went after meth, with states like California passing laws that let people in the possession of meth back out on the street with just a ticket. Since the Patriot Act was passed, it's become harder for meth manufacturers in the US to get their hands on the precursor chemicals to make the product, and with such huge demand, the manufacturing has moved to Mexico where production has exploded. Mexican cartels have begun mass-producing and exporting the deadly drug and meth has never been purer, cheaper, or more lethal as a result. This has had a major effect not only in the US but in Mexico as well, where meth labs are so ubiquitous that consumption from Mexican nationals is seeing a spike.
METH COUNTRY tracks the modern-day flow of meth from Mexico into the United States and the consumption of the drug in both...
