- All the 203 residents of the Villa Vie Odyssey cruise ship have disembarked in Cambodia after being told to do so by the ship operator. The captain said on Thursday (Oct 29) that it was "painful" for him and his crew to leave after soaring fuel prices forced them to cease operations.
The ship had been cruising the world for at least 755 days as one of only a handful of ships that offered passengers the opportunity to rent or buy long-term or even permanent residences on board.
