- Footage that onlooker Kelly Halldorson recorded from her room in the Venetian North Tower shows a person scaling the upper part of the Sphere landmark in Las Vegas, with a helicopter flying nearby.
As of Friday, there was no official confirmation on who the person was or what they were doing at the Sphere. On social media, some speculated that the climber was Alex Honnold, who recently free soloed the Taipei 101 building in January, which Netflix streamed live.

- A high school principal in Oklahoma was shot in the leg after confronting a man who entered the school with a gun, authorities said. No students were injured in the shooting, according to authorities.
The suspect, a 20-year-old former student, was taken into custody, Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation spokesman Hunter McKee said.
“The actions of the staff and the principal stepping in as soon as they saw a subject with a firearm saved lives today,” McKee said.
“I look forward to returning to work as soon as possible so that I may continue my life’s work educating the next generation of Oklahoma leaders,” Pauls Valley High School principal Kirk Moore said in a statement.
