On Saturday, February 13, over 100 participants braved the 10-degree weather and took place in the Polar Plunge at Lake Snowden to raise money for the Special Olympics. Ohio University fraternity Phi Kappa Theta helped to put on the event, which aimed to raise over $16,000.
Trembly, an Athens resident with cerebral palsy, enjoys going out. Sometimes he can't go to certain bars because they are not accessible. Trembly did a bar crawl in November to help raise funds for a new wheelchair accessible van.
