The United States is carrying out its largest offensive since the ceasefire, striking Iran for the fifth consecutive night. Explosions were reported across Iran, including Bandar Abbas, Ahvaz, Sirik, Rask, Konarak, Chabahar, and other areas, as American forces target the systems Iran uses to threaten vessels in the Strait of Hormuz.
The U.S. has renewed its naval blockade on Iran and disabled an oil tanker, the M/T Belma, as it moved toward Kharg Island. American forces reportedly used Hellfire missiles to disable the vessel’s exhaust channel after it failed to obey instructions. CENTCOM says the strikes are meant to damage Iranian military capabilities used against commercial vessels in one of the world’s most critical waterways.
