People from Christians villages invoke the presence of the Syrian army to ensure peace and harmony that have always existed in those places where there were no problems between the different religions and denominations.
Mercenaries and armed strangers, inciting hatred between the families had already been lodged in local mosques, but were turned away by the leaders of local Muslim families.
Now the only hope is that Bashar al-Assad remains in place as president and that the Syrian military can ensure safety and order.
