- It's the 10th anniversary of the Minnesota Vikings' 2016 season, which began with a Teddy Bridgewater's devastating knee injury. "Everything that could go wrong did go wrong," former Vikings offensive lineman Jeremiah Sirles said. Sirles joined Minnesota Star Tribune reporters Ben Goessling and Andrew Krammer to recount how Bridgewater's injury changed the odds of the Vikings' season and everything that went wrong -- after a "fraudulent" 5-0 start to the year.

The 40 students who graduated from Annunciation in May know they’re at a hinge point in life. They left the school many attended since pre-school.
For half that graduating class, they’ll still be together at Academy of Holy Angels in Richfield. A neighbor of an Annunciation family started a scholarship fund, not wanting the financial burden of private school to prevent students from continuing high school together.

- In 1949, thousands of people gathered near Minnesota’s Rapidan Dam to watch something that seemed almost impossible: a six-story, 40-ton grain elevator crossing a narrow bridge over the Blue Earth River.
More than 75 years later, one of the children who witnessed the spectacle still remembers it vividly — and he asked Curious Minnesota: How did they do it?
Host Erica Pearson talks with Minnesota Star Tribune reporter Jp Lawrence about the remarkable journey of the grain elevator from the nearly vanished town of Cray to Rapidan. The move took days, required 24 wheels, an old Army truck, the removal of power and telephone lines and an ingenious plan to get the towering structure across the dam and up a 104-foot riverbank.
And incredibly, the grain elevator is still standing — and operating — today.
The story also connects Rapidan’s past with its dramatically changing present, including the devastating 2024 flooding and plans to remove the Rapidan Dam.

- For decades, Minnesota women have gotten close to the governor’s office. In January, one will finally take the oath.
Democratic U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar and Republican House Speaker Lisa Demuth won their parties’ gubernatorial primaries Tuesday, creating the first all-woman major-party race for governor in Minnesota history.
Senior politics writer Briana Bierschbach takes a look at why the milestone has repeatedly eluded women in a state where they have held nearly every other prominent political office.

What do those results reveal about the Minnesota electorate? Host Melissa Townsend talks with Minnesota Star Tribune Politics Editor Brooks Johnson about the matchups between Amy Klobuchar and Lisa Demuth, and between Peggy Flanagan and Michele Tafoya. They examine the competing arguments over electability, party loyalty and Trump’s influence - and why the decisions voters make in November could shape Minnesota for decades.
