100 block of Longs Peak Drive on Wednesday afternoon.

Firefighters were called out at 12:18 p.m. and the first engine arrived on scene at 12:23 p.m. When firefighters arrived, they encountered two single family homes with flames and heavy smoke coming from the exterior and interior of each two-story residence, with the fire quickly gaining in size. The corners of the roof of each house showed signs of collapse already occurring. Limited access, wind, heavy smoke, partial building collapse and a natural gas leak all impacted the incident. Friday at 8:19 p.m. Cheyenne Fire Rescue (CFR) responded to the 2300 block of Apache St. to find a small single-story residence on fire. When crews arrived on the scene, they found heavy smoke and fire coming from a single-car garage and a vehicle parked in the driveway.

Update At 8:31 pm, Structure fire was called in the 3400 block of South Greeley Hwy. The crews from Julianna Rd. had finished packing up the truck and went en route to the next fire. Upon arrival, fire was showing out of the front windows of the house. Crews made quick work of the fire using a transitional fire attack. The fire was contained to the front half of the trailer. Three adults and a pet were displaced. Three pets were found deceased after the fire.

Updated LCFD #1 responded to a structure fire at 6:40 pm in the 700 block of Julianna Rd. Upon arrival, fire was showing through the side of the trailer with heavy smoke. Using a transitional fire attack and a quick response from crews, the fire was contained to the back of the trailer. Two people and two pets were displaced because of the fire, however one pet was found deceased.
