- Ferry riders got a little surprise on Sunday⛴️ — the Bainbridge Island Youth Symphony performed live aboard the Seattle/Bainbridge route in celebration of Washington State Ferries' 75th anniversary. 🎵
WSF is the largest ferry system in the U.S., carrying millions of passengers a year through Puget Sound — and for one crossing, those passengers got a soundtrack to match the scenery. And the celebrations aren't over yet. KNHC Public Radio will be bringing live DJ sets to ferry sun decks throughout the rest of June, with stops on the Vashon, Edmonds/Kingston, and Bremerton routes.
