Around 20 protesters gathered in Brompton Road at 9am on Thursday, with many gluing themselves to the road, blocking traffic.
A video shared on their Twitter page shows protesters spraying their distinctive orange paint on the windows of the luxury shop, as members of the public can be heard asking: “What are you doing?”
A second video shared online appears to show Harrods security staff taking those spraying paint inside the store.
The Metropolitan Police said specialist officers are in the process of removing protesters from the road, adding two people have been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage.

In a reception at the city’s Town House, the King met Inna Skvortsova, a Ukrainian woman who arrived in the city in April.
She now has a full-time role at the council assisting with the resettlement programme.

The Business Secretary faced a hostile reception as he crossed Victoria Square in the city centre, where hundreds of demonstrators had gathered to vent their anger at the Government.
Escorted by several police officers, Mr Rees-Mogg was pursued by a loudly booing and jeering crowd, some of whom shouted “Tory scum”, as he headed towards his party’s annual gathering at the nearby International Convention Centre.

- Police investigating the death of Moors Murders victim Keith Bennett are probing the reported discovery of a human skull.
The 12-year-old was one of five victims of Ian Brady and Myra Hindley, with three of them later found buried on Saddleworth Moor.
But the schoolboy’s body was never found following his disappearance in 1964 and 48 years later his mother, Winnie Johnson, died aged 78 without fulfilling her wish to give him a proper Christian burial.
Fresh hopes were raised on Friday when a report in the Daily Mail revealed that author Russell Edwards believes he has located the youngster’s makeshift grave following “extensive soil analysis” which indicated the presence of human remains.
It is said Mr Edwards commenced his own dig – close to where the other Moors Murders victims were found – and uncovered a skull with teeth present which independent experts are reported to have concluded is human.

- Eddie Hearn has urged Tyson Fury to stop interfering with the negotiation process by setting unnecessary deadlines for his fight with Anthony Joshua.
“I don’t think Tyson Fury really wants the fight, I think he wants to fight Manuel Charr. They couldn’t get AJ at a better time, he’s just come off a fight to Usyk. ” Hearn told the PA news agency.
Fury claimed there are no more roadblocks for a proposed world heavyweight title showdown against Joshua but insisted his British rival had to sign the fight contract on Thursday.
Fury’s initial deadline of 5pm on Monday came and went without a deal being finalised for a December 3 bout, despite main terms including a 60-40 purse split in the WBC champion’s favour being agreed.
While it was thought the hold-up was down to broadcast rights, Fury says he was persuaded to carry on negotiations by promoter Frank Warren and asserted BT Sport, DAZN and ESPN have come to a resolution.

Speaking in a pre-recorded acceptance speech, Stormzy said: “I encourage everyone in the room today to not just use diversity as a buzz word, but for you lot, whatever position you’re in, whatever role you play, to really be a driving factor for it and not just see it as a quota or as a box to tick.
