Snow level rapidly drop Tuesday afternoon and reach low elevations Tuesday night. The heavy rainfall is expected for 2 to 6 hours, while light to moderate rain will occur for 12 to 24 hours. Total rainfall of 1 to 3 inches is expected but amounts around 6 inches for the San Bernardino Mountain coastal slopes. Rainfall rates at their peak will reach 0.25 to 0.75 inches per hour. There is potential for lightning and small hail for all areas.
