- Runtime

- Description
- The Weather Ready Nation Ambassador Program strives to connect the NWS and the community in the hopes of creating a weather ready nation. Students at a school in Portland, OR have done just that! Check out these 'weather slaps' written, performed and produced by two students at the school. With these performances, they hope that they can help prepare their communities for weather related emergencies.
This school is a justice involved school within the Multnomah Education Service District (MESD). MESD is an educational cooperative that provides a wide variety of programs and services on a regional basis to school districts in Multnomah County and beyond.
We are so incredibly proud of these students and thank them for their hard work to promote the mission of the National Weather Service.
