- KMHX (Morehead City, NC) base reflectivity radar loop showing rain late on the evening of January 27th. Overnight into the early morning of January 28th as colder air moved into the area, the rain changed to ALL snow over Eastern North Carolina. While everybody saw snow on the morning of the 28th, most did not see accumulations along the coast.
