According to the National Weather Service, Doppler radar is indicating rotation within a storm located over Carpentersville, with the storm moving east at 20 miles per hour.
Egg-sized hail is also possible with the storm, which could injure or kill animals left outdoors.

Officials from the Indiana Department of Resources said the boy, from Michigan City, was found about 7:45 a.m. Wednesday in 11 feet of water on the east side of the rocks.
According to the INDR, the boy was with a group of friends swimming in the water Monight night when he started to struggle. A friend tried to save him, but conditions were too tough, with waves of four to six feet.
Indiana Conservation Office Alex Neel said during a press conference Wednesday the boy was caught in a rip current.

According to the latest recall alert, issued on June 5, Inventia Healthcare Limited issued a voluntary recall of certain bottles of Chlorthalidone Tablets. The reason listed for the recall was "failed dissolution specifications."
According to the FDA, more than 11,400 bottles were involved. They were set to expire in April 2027.
The Mayo Clinic reports Chlorthalidone "is used alone or together with other medicines to treat high blood pressure (hypertension)." It can also be used to treat fluid retention.
