- The Cheyenne and Arapaho Youth Council and the Arapaho Culture and Language Program held a cedar workshop for tribal youth in Clinton, Ok. Students learned about the different types of cedar, how to prepare cedar for cultural purposes and prayer. Students also learned some Arapaho teachings about cedar. Youth Council members worked on their cultural presentations, which they will be demonstrating at the United National Indian Tribal Youth conference later this year.

Students learned about the gourd dance and the meaning behind at the regalia. Also, students got to work on T-dresses, ribbon dresses, and shawls. The group participated in a hand game to close out the night.
