Addressing Trump directly, Pezeshkian said the US leader “must know that the resistance of the Iranian people will only increase in the face of sanctions, increased pressure, increased bullying. We will never bow our head[s] or bend at the knee”.
Pezeshkian also accused the US and Israel of hypocrisy for trying to constrain Iran’s nuclear programme while allowing Israel to maintain a nuclear arsenal. Israel does not admit to having nuclear weapons, but it is widely believed to have them.

This was the plea from a Palestinian Sheikh Jarrah resident, as a new Middle East Eye investigation uncovered UK-registered charities donating over a million dollars to an ultra-Orthodox yeshiva planning an 11-storey expansion into the Palestinian neighbourhood.
The charities can claim Gift Aid on those donations, meaning the UK government tops them up by 25 percent.
Ohr Somayach already runs a campus in an Israeli settlement on land seized in 1967 and regarded under international law as occupied. Sheikh Jarrah has long been a flashpoint for forced evictions and protest against Israel's expanding occupation.

He argues that some of these institutions did not merely fail Gaza but helped provide political, legal or moral cover for its destruction.

- Rhana Natour, journalist and producer, says that military GPS jamming likely played a role in two sudden civilian plane crashes this summer, raising urgent questions about air safety in an era of expanding electronic warfare.
She explains that the first crash occurred in New Mexico in May, when a medical evacuation plane lost its GPS capabilities during a US military jamming exercise. With air traffic controllers overwhelmed by multiple GPS-less aeroplanes, the pilots attempted a visual descent in the dark and flew straight into a mountain.
The second crash involved a Pakistani cargo plane in June, which nose-dived into the sea at supersonic speed just minutes after losing its GPS over the Strait of Hormuz. Natour notes this is one of the world’s "most heavily GPS-denied areas", but warns that overlapping jamming by various countries makes the crash investigation a "big, big mess".

- Description
- Former US President Barack Obama has responded to Donald Trump’s decision to bar CNN, MS NOW and Politico from the White House, saying it is, “unimaginable”.
Speaking at Colgate University, Obama questioned what the reaction would have been had his administration barred Fox News from the White House.
Trump announced the bans on Friday, accusing the three outlets of repeatedly reporting what he called “fake news”. Journalists from the outlets have been denied entry and had their White House press passes revoked.
Press freedom advocates have raised concerns over the move’s implications for the First Amendment, with the outlets saying they may challenge the bans.
