- Team Guam volleyball – both our men's and women's groups – capped-off an amazing week of intense play on our home court in the Oceania Championships. Both squads played for the bronze medal, with our women winning the hardware by defeating the Marshall Islands in 3 sets. Our men's team faced a talented team from Wallis and Futuna, falling in 4 sets and fighting hard in every rally.
Both Australian national teams won their divisions in the tournament. The VolleyRoos men defeated New Caledonia to win gold, and their women's teammates won the top medal by defeating American Samoa.
Looking ahead to next summer's Pacific Games, the talent and motivation we've got heading to Tahiti is incredible. Congrats to both our teams for battling on the court and sharing Hafa Adai with our visiting athletes!
