He was often injured while playing at USC and there were plenty of skeptics.
He'd go one to have a Hall of Fame career in the NFL playing for the Bengals.
But, it's his off the field work that may be the most impressive.
23 years ago, he formed the Muñoz Foundation to help kids. To date, they've helped over 55,000 of them.
