- Tonight on CTV Sports, we feature a packed weekend for Colorado State Athletics, and the Rams delivered in big ways. Men’s Basketball picked up a gritty 91-86 road win over the UNLV Running Rebels in Las Vegas. The Rams then returned home for the Orange Out Game and took down the No. 2 seed San Diego Aztecs 83-74 in Moby Arena. Women's Basketball went 2-0 with wins over the Nevada Wolfpack and rival Wyoming Cowgirls. CSU Softball competed in the River State Classic in San Marcos, CSU battled through five tough matchups, earning an extra-inning win over the Texas State Bobcats. With Women’s Swim and Dive, Tess Whineray made history at the Mountain West Conference in Houston winning the 200 backstroke,setting multiple records and earning an automatic NCAA berth. CSU Tennis battled BYU on the road. And both Men and Womens Golf competed in elite tournaments in California. Men’s Basketball lit up Moby Arena on Valentine’s Day with a statement win over border rival Wyoming, taking the Border War matchup in front of a fired-up home crowd. After a tough loss in San Diego, Women’s Basketball bounced back in dominant fashion, rolling past New Mexico 66-46 and making a statement on both ends of the floor. On the diamond, Softball powered through a grueling three-day invite, five games against three different teams, battling until the final out in every matchup. Track and Field competed across the country at the Husky Classic, Jarvis Scott Invite, and Mountain Lion Open, showcasing depth and talent on multiple stages. Meanwhile, CSU Hockey traveled to Ames to take on Iowa State.
