- Did you know our Offshore Automatic Weather Stations (AWS) are the most critical tool we have for forecasting tropical cyclones at sea🌀 ?
Our Offshore AWS monitor winds, temperature, humidity and pressure, providing reliable, accurate and up-to-the minute information that is vital for cyclone forecasting and analysis, as well as safety at sea.
The real-time data assists forecasters in analysing the location and intensity of the cyclone, and the data feeds into our weather models so we can get the best possible prediction of its likely track and strength.
