One of the West Country's worst drivers foolishly attempted to run away from a police dog after leading officers on a death-defying 100mph chase, putting numerous lives at risk. Daniel Kibblewhite, 31, of Castle View, Westbury, Wiltshire, was already a wanted man when he was spotted by police.
Here began a series of increasingly bad decisions that would ultimately land Kibblewhite in jail. Firstly, he put his foot down and tried to flee pursuing officers, hitting 100mph on narrow country roads, performing hugely dangerous manoeuvres and putting himself and other road users in peril.

Dozens of Wallace and Gromit themed sculptures are about to hit the streets of Bristol ahead of the official launch of Gromit Unleashed 3 next week.
The hugely-popular trial - which last took place in Bristol in 2018 - takes place from Monday (June 30) until Sunday, August 31.
This year’s trail will include more than 50 sculptures of our favourite Aardman duo - as well as notorious supervillain McGraw and Wallace’s latest invention, Norbot.

Thousands of people are descending on Glastonbury as the famous music festival in Somerset opens its gates for 2025.
Campers arriving at Worthy Farm in Pilton can expect a mixed bag of sunshine and rain throughout the week with "with sunny spells and scattered showers expected throughout the day" on Wednesday, according to forecasters.
The gates opened at 8am on Wednesday with revellers making their way into the grounds. There are huge queues of traffic on the approach as well.
