The UK's biggest seagrass restoration project is underway off the Llŷn Peninsula, in North Wales.
Seagrass is very important for our planet because it absorbs huge amounts of carbon dioxide - a gas which is a big cause of climate change.
In fact, seagrass takes in carbon dioxide up to 35 times faster than tropical rainforests.
The Seagrass Ocean Rescue project is helping to restore areas of seagrass off Gwynedd and Anglesey where seagrass has been damaged by boats, tourism and pollution.
What is seagrass and why is it important?
Seagrass grows across the seabed in underwater meadows.
The meadows provide shelter and homes for wildlife - 1,000 square metres can house up to 8,000 fish and 10 million invertebrates, according to Seagrass ...

US space agency Nasa has successfully crashed a spacecraft into an asteroid, to try to force it to go in a different direction.
The test mission happened 11 million km (7 millions miles) away in space, on a target called Dimorphos.
The asteroid isn't on a path to hit Earth and this test won't accidentally make it head this direction either.
Nasa's aim is to find out if it is possible to change the course of an asteroid or space rock in case it is needed in the future.
The space agency said they won't know if they've successfully managed to change the asteroid's course for a few weeks yet, but they're happy the crash worked according to their plan.

Queen Elizabeth II was laid to rest on Monday 19 September, with funeral services taking place in Westminster Abbey and at Windsor.
It took place 11 days after her death, with world leaders, the Royal Family and more than a million members of the public in London to say goodbye and pay their respects.

Nine-year-old Lois has said she is "flabbergasted", after receiving one of the last cards sent by the Queen.
Lois, who is from Hampshire, sent a poem to Queen Elizabeth II in June to celebrate her Platinum Jubilee this summer.
She said the Queen "was like a grandma to all of us" and decided to write the poem because during "all of her years of reign she's done so many things" for everyone.
The letter replying to Lois was sent from Buckingham Palace and the date on the envelope says Wednesday 7 September. Queen Elizabeth II died at Balmoral Castle on Thursday 8 September, aged 96.
Lois told the BBC that she was "speechless" when she opened the letter and feels "happy that she has received a piece of history".

The UK has a new monarch after Queen Elizabeth II died on 8 September, aged 96.
From now on, the Queen's eldest son will be known as King Charles III. His wife Camilla becomes the Queen Consort, which is a term used for the spouse of the king.
Queen Elizabeth II's reign was longer than any other British monarch, lasting 70 years.
It means not much is known about what sort of King Charles will be, and what life will be like with him as the head of state.

Liz Truss has been chosen to become the next prime minister of the UK. This is all you need to know about the UK's next Prime Minister!
She was voted for by members of the Conservative Party to replace Boris Johnson who stepped down as leader in July. Over 140,000 party members voted for either between Liz Truss and Rishi Sunak, with Truss winning by more than 20,000 votes.
She will be the third woman to become UK prime minister, after Margaret Thatcher in 1979 and Theresa May in 2016, all three being Conservatives.

The UK's current Prime Minister Boris Johnson has given a final speech as he leaves Downing Street.
During his speech he praised his government for carrying out Brexit, supporting Ukraine, and rolling out the Covid vaccine.
He announced his resignation - meaning he was stepping down from his job - in July earlier this year, after more than 50 people from his own party resigned in protest over his leadership.

Children going back to school have been telling Newsround how the cost of living crisis is affecting them.
The cost of living crisis has been caused by the price of things going up, but the amount of money people are getting hasn't gone up as much.
For many people it means they have to make tough choices on how to spend their money and what they need to cut back on.

There are multiple different versions of Flag Football around the world, but in the UK the main form is 5v5 aligning with the current competition format. In 5v5, if a team reaches the endzone they score 6 points and have the option to add a further 1 or 2 points with an extra attempt. Who was Mikhail Gorbachev and what did he do?
The last leader of the Soviet Union, Mikhail Gorbachev, has passed away this week at the age of 91.
Mr Gorbachev had a massive impact on world politics with many saying he helped bring an end to one of the biggest conflicts of the 20th century, the Cold War.
In 1990 was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his part in ending the divisions between East and West Germany.

Pakistan's planning minister says the severe floods that have hit the country have caused at least $10bn (£8.5bn) of damage.
The UN's secretary general, Antonio Guterres, has launched a $160m appeal to help tens of millions of people affected in the disaster where a third of the country is covered by floodwater.
The floods have been caused by the Indus River bursting its banks, a huge river that has overflowed after an intense period of rain during the monsoon season.
The flooding has affected more than 33 million people, over 15% of the country's population, as torrential rains have also washed away roads, crops, homes and bridges with emergency services leading rescue efforts using boats and helicopters.

Have you noticed that leaves are getting crunchier and have turned golden and red?
These are the usual signs that autumn is here and things are getting cooler.
But that's not the case, in fact trees have been tricked into what some are calling a "false autumn" due to the recent heatwaves and drought conditions.
Experts say, this has pushed trees into survival mode and they are dropping their leaves as a sign of stress, with concerns some trees could even die as result.

Is poo, wee and sewage going in to our sea? Data from the Environment Agency (which works to protect the environment in England) analysed by the political party Liberal Democrats, shows water companies are failing to monitor the amount of sewage that's being released into the sea.

Sewage monitors at some seaside resorts in England and Wales are either faulty or not installed.
It comes after swimmers and beachgoers were advised to avoid going into the water last week after untreated sewage was discharged into the sea at nearly 50 UK beaches.
Pollution warnings were put into place after recent heavy rain overloaded sewer systems, causing water companies to release sewage into the natural environment.

Some of the greatest Pokémon players in the world are in London for the Pokémon World Championships. It's the biggest and most important Pokémon tournament around, where some of the very best trainers compete for the title of world champion.
Thousands of Pokémon fans have gathered in the capital for the event which takes place from 18 August to 21 August.
This Year's World Championships is the first for three years.
It's also the first Pokémon World Championships event to be hosted in Europe and only the second time it's ever been held outside of the USA.
The event which first started in 2004 with the Trading Card Game has previously only been held in the USA.
And, six years after Pokémon GO launched, the first World Champions will be crowned during this championships.
There are both Trading Card Game tournaments and video game competitions.

Have you ever wondered what colours the dinosaurs were? And how would we ever find out? That's the Big Question sent in by Tom, 12, from Otley. We asked science educator Tom Luker to explain.
For decades, dinosaur experts thought the ancient creatures were covered in reptilian-like scales, that is until recent discoveries revealed many of the extinct animals had feathers - just like birds.
Now palaeontologists have discovered that their flying cousins, the pterosaurs - who dominated the skies above the dinosaurs - had feathers too!
A fossil of a head crest from a pterosaur called Tupandactylus Imperator was found preserved in slabs of limestone in Brazil, and showed that the creatures had feathers when they were alive about 115 million years ago.

Strictly Come Dancing winner Rose Ayling-Ellis has teamed up with Mattel the makers of Barbie to release their first doll with hearing aids.
The EastEnders actor made history as the first deaf contestant to win Strictly Come Dancing in 2021.
This new Barbie doll has behind-the-ear hearing aids. @Mattel wanted a more diverse range of dolls.
Rose, who has been deaf since birth, said: "It's so important for children to be able to see themselves represented in the toys they play with."
Rose added: "When I was little, I would draw hearing aids on to my Barbie dolls to make them look like me."

The UK's latest heatwave is over, with thunderstorms expected in some parts of the country.
A yellow weather warning has been put in place by the Met Office.
While temperatures have not reached the highs of July's heatwave, August's heatwave has been longer.
Many regions of England are now in drought, with reservoirs and rivers at very low levels across the whole of the UK.
But rain in Scotland, Northern Ireland and the north west of England on Sunday has marked the end to the heatwave in the north and west of the country.
Other parts of England and Wales will see rain on Monday.
Experts have warned a lengthy period of rain would be needed to end the drought declared in parts of England on Friday.

Summer is a time when lots of people are inspired to have a go at swimming to either learn a new skill, or cool off from the day's heat.
However, there have been concerns raised about the number of swimming pools closing around the UK. Swimmers across the UK have lost access to 65 public pools in the last three years.
The BBC found that between 2019 and 2022 one in six local authorities had seen at least one pool close, on either a permanent or temporary basis.
The West Midlands and Scotland have seen the most closures, with the West Midlands being hit the hardest. The region saw the number of pools fall from 105 to 97, while in Scotland it decreased from 219 to 211.
The pool closures have led to fears that opportunities for people to learn how to swim are becoming increasingly limited.

Dogs have been given their own treat-dispensing game console
A video-game console that dispenses snacks when a pet dog correctly follows a series of increasingly difficult on-screen instructions has been developed.
BBC Click's Chris Fox reports. Go Dogo is an interactive game for dogs, which helps put mental stimulation in a dog’s day. It lets a dog earn treats by solving challenges in the game. It is based on the concept that dogs love to work for their food and learn best through positive reinforcement - one treat at a time.

- England have beaten old rivals Germany 2-1 at the Euro 2022 final.
The Lionesses played in front of a record crowd of 87,192 people at Wembley Stadium in London.
The first half remained goalless but both teams scored in the second with substitute Ella Toone of England slotting home the first goal of the match followed by Germany's Lina Magull's equaliser in the 79th minute.
It was only in extra time that a goal by sub Chloe Kelly secured the match for the Lionesses and, as the full time whistle blew, history was made!
The reaction in the stadium was incredible as joyous England fans and players celebrated the historic win.

England have made it to the final of Euro 2022 after a 4-0 win against Sweden on Tuesday night.
This is the first time the Lionesses have made it to a major women's tournament final for 13 years.
Goals from Beth Mead, Lucy Bronze, Alessia Russo and Fran Kirby gave England the victory at Bramall Lane in Sheffield.
But it wasn't expected to be an easy game for England with the Swedes one of the big tournament favourites before the competition started.
They also started the competition as the highest ranked team at Euro 2022.
"I'm very proud," manager Sarina Wiegman said. "Again, the team found a way. When we scored it obviously helped a lot."

Rishi Sunak and Liz Truss: Who will be the UK's next prime minister? The final two candidates in the race to become the UK's next prime minister have been announced.

After a vote by Conservative Members of Parliament, Penny Mordaunt received the lowest number of votes meaning the contest is now between Rishi Sunak and Liz Truss.
Conservative Party members - around 160,000 people - will now decide who will replace the current leader Boris Johnson.
The winner will be announced by 5 September, after Parliament returns from summer break.
Rishi Sunak became an MP in 2015 - for the North Yorkshire constituency of Richmond.

Wear sunscreen - sunscreen is super important to help protect your skin from the Sun's ultra violet (UV) rays, which can cause burns or make you feel unwell. When you're looking for a good sunscreen, look out for ones with a high SPF (Sun Protection Factor) number like SPF 30 or 50 for more protection. ...
