- Eighty-one-year-old Winfield Nurse has been given a starting sentence of 13 years in prison for the unlawful disposal of the body of his granddaughter, Rasheeda Bascombe. Nurse, of Bush Hall, St Michael, will serve just over two years after deductions, including nearly a decade spent on remand, were taken into account. He was convicted by a jury of disposing of the body of the 12-year-old sometime between 2002 and 2013. Bascombe was reported missing on January 2, 2002.
