The Storm Prediction Center has placed areas north of Dane County under a 1 of 5 risk, and Dane County and south under a 2 of 5. Risks will be gusty winds, heavy rain, and an isolated tornado.

Newly released video shows the tragic events of August 1st, when a gunman opened fire at an In-N-Out restaurant drive-through in Twin Falls, Idaho, leaving three dead and seven others wounded. Viewer discretion is heavily advised, as the details of this footage are disturbing and graphic. The video shows the gunman arriving at the drive-through payment window in a white car before shooting his first victim. He then fired into another vehicle, killing a second victim, before returning to the window to fire again. During the horrific rampage, the suspect exchanged gunfire with an off-duty trooper, striking the officer. A Good Samaritan armed with a handgun also engaged the shooter, who fled across the parking lot and shot additional victims inside two other cars. In total, 10 people were shot that day, with seven surviving their injuries.
The Wisconsin State Fair is celebrating its 175th year with a unique twist on two of the state's most beloved staples: beer and dairy. At the Bud Pavilion, fairgoers can now get their hands on a new "Soft Serve Beer," which combines New Glarus Brewing Company's Raspberry Tart craft beer with creamy Wisconsin dairy for a lightly boozy swirl. The Tenth Annual World Dog Surfing Championships brought veteran and rookie surfing dogs together to catch waves and compete for the top prize. The furry competitors were divided into categories based on their size and rigorously judged on several factors, including how long they stayed on the board, the size of the wave, their confidence, balance, and any tricks they attempted. The winner of the small dogs competition was Bradley "Shortboard" Cooper, who hit the water sporting a bright orange life vest. Iza Surf Dog, wearing a pink vest complete with a shark dorsal fin, took home the win in the medium dogs competition. Finally, Instagram star Rippin' Rosie secured the victory in the large and extra-large dogs category. The popular event took place at Linda Mar Beach in Pacifica, California, where hundreds of spectators gathered to cheer and applaud the surfing pups with every successful ride.
