Commission Chairman, Edward Kaltamat, made the official announcement, stating that two councillor seats had become vacant due to the deaths of two elected members. One of these vacant seats is a Reserved Seat.
Kaltamat further explained that one candidate has met all the requirements under the new law and will now take up the position of Councillor for the Reserved Seat.
