who took up the responsibilities at Singha Durbar as the country's chief executive
in March last year, said that he would not go back to the Supreme Court as the
Chief Justice.
In a live televised address to the nation this afternoon, Regmi said though the
constitution, existing laws and principles would not not stop him from resuming the
post of Chief Justice he used his conscience to resign from the apex court with
effect from today.
