- A taxi driver in Gaziantep, Turkey who was being held hostage by a shotgun-wielding gunman fleeing from police took the situation into his own hands when he wrestled with the suspect and took his weapon on May 11.
Footage from Mr Ramazan Yildirim’s dashcam showed the moment when the 58-year-old grabbed Semih C’s shotgun as he was firing at police from the window, eventually removing the weapon from his hands and discarding it as police closed in to arrest the suspect.
