September 7th, 2007, revelers kicked off the Art Hop with custom t-shirts printed to order on site by Tick Tick, tasty munchies, booze a plenty and walls full of art.

Many Daysies winners were in attendance and there was tasty local cuisine to be sampled as well as lots of 7 Days love to spread around.
Local celeb sightings included the VTer you voted to see naked (and we happily obliged with a nude 7 Days cover), Rusty DeWees, 5 time winner Tom Messner our very own smiling weatherman, 4 time winners Tom Brennan and Steve Cormier of "Corm & the Coach" and the feisty LeMay sisters who need a category before they can win.
And the best news of the evening, 7 Days writer and 5 time award winning best print journalist, Peter Freyne, is officially cancer free. Can I get a HELL YEAH!?

- 7/27/07: To celebrate the premiere of The Simpsons Movie in Burlington Vermont, Merrill's Roxy Cinemas held a donut eating contest.
Homer and Bart Simpson from the award winning Springfield Vermont video were on hand for the festivities.
The winner of the eating contest was Joel Ribout, a marathon runner who has always dreamt of being in an eating contest. He ate 8.5 donuts in 4 minutes.
The proceeds from the evening went to the VT Film Commission who made the short film that won the contest.

The drive to Warren is a long one and the drive to the Edgecomb Barn is even longer and bumpier. If it weren't for the Phantom signs, you might find yourself lost for good.
Underneath a blanket of thick stars, performers and audience members spend their summers at the barn enjoying the offerings of Phantom Theater.
This year's festivities kicked off with two nights of shows by The All-Purpose Dance Company.
